i'm not really a water kind of guy because i cant swim. i must
say i enjoyed the hour walk along the coast line watching the children
run away from the waves, then running back after it.
the hour walk along the shore line was so peaceful. i didnt build a sandcastle, but i did see a few in the making.
i arrived early that morning so i was able to see most of the lifeguards and the beach police prepare for the day.
the day before i scooted down to the water, my brother, mom and myself had lunch at this amazing restaurant. i cant remember the name, but it was located at broadway at the beach.
i ordered this loaded baked potato with some broccoli cheddar soup. it was so delicious. yea thats quite a bit of butter. paula deen would be happy. i just know it.
my brother, who is 22 today, snapped this random photo mine while i was in the lobby. i have been wanting to wear my green trousers for quite some time and i was finally able to do that friday morning.
i paired it with a very old, yet iconic ralph lauren blazer a striped french cuff shirt from tj maxx and a navy blue polka dot bowtie, my mother made.
of course i did some thrifting at the beach...how was your weekend?

Hi, I love the old RL blazer, nice look. The beach looks lovely too!
My store is only a block behind the sling shot ride & I was there Saturday! I wish I had known. Did you hit the thrift stores along King's Highway or the Goodwill in CF? I can't wait to see your finds.
I wished we had visited Myrtle Beach when we lived in Virginia - how I miss the south! I guess now that I live on the west coast, I can the enjoy the beauty it offers but there is nothing like southern hospitality and sense of community!
Love those trousers!
Wow! Can't believe how blue the sky was! It was a beautiful weekend in the Carolinas Rashon! I spent Friday and Saturday spray painting outside and planting flowers for my front porch makeover. Sunday was gorgeous, as well and we spent much of Easter day outside with friends. I love the photo of the tall thin building where the sides seem to disappear against the sky. You look great, btw!
My weekend was great. My husband and I went to see Titanic 3D. It was better than the first time.
I love the pic of your feet in the sand. Followed by the pic of the loaded baked potato ;)
You definitely need to spend more time at Myrtle Beach. It is one of my favorite places and I am heading there next week to soak up a little sun myself.
So glad you enjoyed your weekend.
Yea the skies were so blue! I just had to get out there.
Titanic 3D can I sit through it is the question. That movie was LLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.
LOL.
Yep. Need to plan some more Myrtle Beach time.

That outfit with the green jeans is fabulous! You look so dapper - smartest man in Myrtle Beach I'm sure. We used to live in Greenville SC so really enjoyed these shots thank you. I hope you had a very happy Easter weekend. Annie x.
I am in love with these beach pictures. The oregon coast doesn't have that carnival, classic feeling. Seeing it in pictures makes me just sigh with envy. I've also been slightly enamored with the prep school-emblem blazers. Great work!
Just read your policy, love that!
I really enjoyed your blog today, I will definitely be back to visit again. Great blog!
