she told me it wasn't cupcakes...

when prissy from rush our fashion told me she wanted to send me something, i asked her if she was sending me cupcakes. she said no. humph. instead she sent me these amazing plaid pants. there were a bit too big, so i took them to my tailor and had them altered.
when i found this amazing wine colored corduroy blazer, i knew immediately i would pair the two together. (HERE is a similar blazer). i wore this fit to an event at my local neiman marcus event last night. the jacket was the most complimented item of the night. it was a really nice find.
my bag was literally a steal from a thrift store as well. this lady told me it was a pocket book and that i should give it to her. my shoes are vintage and i bought them off ebay a few years ago.

many of you have asked about the watch i am wearing. it is by fossil and i think i got it as a gift some years ago. maybe i bought it. not sure. i have a lot of watches and i have to consciously remember to wear them. i often forget.

so no cupcakes, but its good to have blog friends who know your style and are willing to send you items just because. prissy...thanks soooo much.

now what else can i wear these pants with...lol

just a few more hours to register for the Thrifting 101 Seminar...HERE!

You ask what else you could wear those pants with? I would take them shopping with you and find some things that match the other colors, especially what looks like the dark blue or green. Maybe pair the pants up with something for every occasion, casual, dressy, etc. Those are great pants and would look good with all those colors as the solid. Have fun!

Nice. I love when my outfits are 100% thrifted! I bought a similar blazer for myself and I wore it several times this winter!

Man, you look great!

The whole outfit works. You know if one item is complimented all night it's because everything else you are wearing compliments it.

I hope that you do styling for money, since you are really talented. You do more with thrifted stuff than most people could do with high-end stuff. Love everything, especially the bag.

The outfit is fire! Question: What's in the bag?

Hi! I have not posted in a long while! Love your blog and your appearances on Nate!! You also look so well put together! One question, is it me, or do your jacket sleeves run short?? Perhaps I am not knowledgeable on the correct length in men's jacket sleeves. Just my honest observation.

Hugs!

@ CoCo:

What is in my bag. Hmmm. My DSLR camera. My planner, my clipboard, 2 extra bowties, bottle water, my keys, my wallet and some peppermint.

@1 x 1000:

a man's jacket or blazer should have enough sleeve clearance to show at least one to one and a half inch of his shirt sleeve.

What size are you? I thrifted a size 40 cord blazer-olive green. Not one of my boyz can wear it! I think it is improperly marked. It is yours for the asking!
