do you like this?

i dont buy everything i see in a thrift or vintage store. some of the deal are so spectacular, but without room or additional funds for a redo, i simply leave them behind.

before i walk away i always try to snap an iPhone picture to share with you guys. facebook has already seen it, but i wanted to share it with you guys as well.
i think with a good cleaning this $25 wingback by ethan allen is worth it.

i like the stripes. some floral or graphic pillows.

any takers?

Rashon you have got to call me up when you find this stuff!! I was thrifting in the Charlotte area on Saturday this weekend too...could have been a hop skip and a jump for me to come get it!

Love that chair! I rarely see older chairs that I wouldn't mind changing the fabric on, but this one would be perfect for our family room!

Love the shape and quality of the chair. I am so-so on the fabric.

Which brings me to my next thought: would you fabric paint this?

How did those other two chairs you painted black hold up in terms of the fabric paint... now that it has been a few months?

Do you think you could paint fabrics a lighter color, or is it easier to go to a darker color?

LOOOOOVE it! I just found a DIY tutorial on how to make an upholstered chair into a swivel glider. This would be perfect for my best friend's nursery.

I love it...and would leave it the same fabric! It almost matches the olive in my couch :)

I would buy this chair in a heartbeat. It's a great color and it's "Ethan Allen" for heavens sake.
