[i want it, but i have no place for it]

i was going through some of my photos i came across this chandelier.  i have wanted this chandelier since i saw it about 3 years ago. when i first laid eyes on this, i was for sure i would finally be able to buy this fixture after pining over it for so long.

this chandelier is not just something you can buy and stick in a closet with hopes to one day be able to hang it (well not me). its an investment piece.

i want it, but i have no place for it.

have your ever really wanted something (relating to interior design), but just didn't have the space for it?

Its just a mere $1407.00

Not thrifty, but worth the investment. eh?

Yes! That happens to me all the time. It is beautiful. It wouldn't fit over your new office desk/dining table? You have such a great style.

Oh even though too contemporary for my home, I love it. I have learned to love things from afar since I can't have everything.

If you wait long enough, maybe you'll find it at a goodwill :)

That is one sexy chandelier! That happens to me often as well. We have quite a large house, but with an open concept design, there isn't that much wall space. I'd love to do a pretty styled console or dresser in our main living area, but it's not going to happen.

Sometimes I want something because it's a great style, a fab bargain that's a once-in-a-lifetime buy, a famous name brand, etc. But I have a very small space that's decorated pretty much the way I want it, except I do a few mini-makeovers or change out accessories now and then. I have a couple of things on my "Want" list. If something on that list came up, I'd get it. But if it's just something I love or want, and have no place for it, I have to be tough and pass it up. I have no room for storage here, either.

Lately, I have pined for a canape settee at the foot of my bed but it would probably just become a place to pile junk. I am settling for my antique slipper chair in the corner and I only put the extra pillows on it at night.

That chandelier is georgeous! That happens to me all the time. I love mid century furniture, but I only have 1000 sq. ft to fill....and I am already full.
