[from you...the readers]

i really enjoy hearing how so many of you have been inspired to add a little thrift to your home or your wardrobe. what's even better is that you take time to send me amazing photos. which proves that thrifting is such a great way to live.
when Roeshel, who blogs over at the diy show off, sent me pictures of her bedroom, i may or may not have done a happy dance. okay i didn't dance per se'. but i think she did. her bedroom is full of thrift items. like these chairs found for $25 each. WOW!  i really need something like this and at this price for the condo.

thats all imma give you must go check out her bedroom here!
Roeshel also participated in the national "I <3 Thrifting" Day.
after blogging about my stiffel lamps here, a reader said she went thrifting and found a stiffel lamp of her own for $4.99.
she sent me these pictures as proof. which i am all about the proof!
that looks like a value village tag. LOL.

i enjoy hearing from you whether it be on TWITTER, FACEBOOK or here on the BLOG. do you have an amazing find you would like to share? send it to me in my email and it may end up here on the blog.

Thank you so much for sharing my thrifted guest bedroom makeover, Rashon! What a great way to start the day! :)

I loved the room makeover you recently did on Nate's show. Gorgeous! I'd die if I found a piece that retails for $17k! Wow! You did an amazing job, as usual!

Have a wonderful weekend!

You are so wonderful, Rashon. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. I was in a bit of a rut with decorating but you inspired me with your fabulous style. So I stopped by the thrift store and found a Crate and Barrel leather chair ($2,000?!). Yoohooo. It does have one spot that has some sticky tape residue. Any advice on cleaning leather?

Love you, dear.

Thanks for the shout out to Roeshel. This is the first time I have seen her guest room. Did you know that she handpainted that rug on the floor? How about a post on that! Ann

I've been following Roeshel's blog for a good while now, I really love her style, she's a great thrifter and DYIer! Isn't that painted area rug spectacular?

Funny I thought the same thing: that is a Value Village tag for sure. Now I gotta check all my local VV to make sure there aren't any Stiffel lamps!

I have found you to be a source of encouragement and enlightenment. Almost my entire home and most of my wardrobe are thrifted treasures. Just need to work up the courage to paint wooden pieces those sassy colors to make my rooms pop. Soon, the color decisions have been made, now the sanding, prep and painting. Rest easy, Mr Rashon...
