this past weekend i went home to a two-day appreciation service for a mentor of mine. while i was home i visited one of my favorite thrift stores. i find some of the most amazing pieces in this store and mix them in with some of my more expensive pieces.
all the way in the back was this $10 brand named cotton seersucker suit. with some light tailoring, this suit rivals some of my most trusted pieces. in the south seersucker is a staple in a gentleman's wardrobe. i have several pieces already.
technically one isnt supposed to wear white or seersucker after labor day weekend. technically i may or may not pay that rule any attention. id be happy to confront the fashion police...lol.

I LOVE the suit. I have a jacket made out of that same material I bought for $5 at Belks. I wouldn't wear seersucker after Labor Day but you go ahead.
The tie is nice and really suits you.
What a deal! I love seersucker suits! I've dressed my sons in them since they were big enough to wear one. Can't talk the hubs into it though. And of course, I love your tie.
Well I just came across a Burberry Trench coat at my local Goodwill but I paid $10.99...I love a great $10.00 find!!

For $10 I have also bought a suit. Also once I bought a brand new pair of shoes and a dress.

Bought a Trench Coat with a detachable lining for cooler days and a Tommy Hilfiger Puffer Jacket for $0.99 each! My fave thrift store has $0.99 Thursdays. Love seersucker...please pay those "rules" no attention. True fashion cannot be bound by rules.
Oh....I love seersucker! When I moved to Atlanta I was so surprised to see men wear it. You don't see it alot but you do see it a little and I love it so much.

I lurve me some seersucker. What's truly serendipitous is finding a name brand $10 seersucker suit in YOUR size! I find a ton of stuff I love, but no amount of tailoring will make it big/small enough.
