[a house i like]

well today i was supposed to upload a linky party so that everyone could upload their finds from "i <3 thrifting" day. despite my better efforts, i am just not that great with technology. unless its a button to press or an icon to click, i am clueless.

i am the guy that calls customer service for almost everything. i love electronics just like most men. its been about 2 years since ive been in my current place and i still havent figured out how to connect 1 of my 3 dvd players to my tv.

i know you may say thats just awful. perhaps, but i am also the guy the buys electronics and rarely uses them. i love my plasma tv...but most times its off.

where was i...
oh yes...

a house i like
i first saw this space here and wanted to see more, so i clicked here. now there are some fussy elements, but overall its a great space with a great story.

if you would like an OFFICIAL "i <3 thrifting" tee-shirt you can pick them up here
if you need professional help with your home or your wardrobe, you can email and we can get started right away.

This is GORGEOUS!! Thanks for sharing. I was thinking about doing a linky party soon myself but haven't even started to look into the technicalities of doing that. Now I'm scared!

i've had my eye on that house as well, and didn't even know the rooms belonged to the same place, much less the story behind it, off to check it out!

i use InLinkz for my linky {not kinky} parties, you only have to put one code in one little part, really easy!

Wow, that home is a DREAM! I am just crazy for neutral spaces with a lot of texture and vibrant art.

Oh my, this house is gorgeous. I have spent so much time taking in every detail of each space. I love the mix of French influences, the shades of grey and the pops of modern in places. Thank you very much for posting this - so much inspiration!

Wonderful! I usually don't like muted designs, I LOVE color, but this speaks to me. I love all the natural, warm tones used especially the touch of dog. ;)

Dear Mr. Goodwill Hunting...

Just wanted to say that I saw you on Nate awhile back and was SO impressed. You have great style and wonderful ideas.

I've been a thrifter since I was born....well, since my Mum was, I feel like I can claim it too.... Nothing gives me a bigger thrill than finding something great....and it sure makes one's home so much more unique than the "Furniture Showroom Look" which I abhor. Sort of like "bed in a bag"...when you can go to Penney's and buy every, single thing to match perfectly. YUK.

I'll be popping over more, now that I've found your blog...

Warm blessings,
Spencer

I love those light fixtures as well.

I recently found your blog and thought you would appreciate one of my recent finds. Two great chairs.

Just love this house. The majority of my clients are men and the quantity and level of electronics specified can be over the top. It sometimes takes weeks to get houses of lofts wired. I, sometimes, have to incorporate up to 10, 12 TV. I have one plasma in my library to watch movies, rarely watches TV and cannot even figure out the remote!

I've actually toured this house in person on a local house tour, and it is absolutely EXQUISITE. Such a stunning mix of old and new elements in every space. I was swooning the whole time I was there!
