I absolutely your love of black and white, and how you've incorporated it in your home. I love your place (I've been stalking your design pics).I love the changes you've made! :))Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog :)
great updates, i love the fabric inside of your tray. it goes well with your decor.
Ohhh your man crib is so sexy and clean! haha. Love it!A Girl's Next Best Friend
I love the "I'd Rather Be Thrifting" sign.
your bedroom is fabulous!!!!!!!! Keep up the excellent work!!
Love the red, black and white and the mix of patterns offers so much interest. Also love the "I'd rather be thrifting sign"! I need a bumper sticker like that, lol!
I love the pops of color and pattern. The room is really pretty
You always use black shades on your lamps. Every time I see them I am wowed by how sophisticated it looks! Something I have to try in my home for sure.Sarah
What a gorgeous room - i love your mix of patterns :)
Love the new updates - color is a good thing!! Love how your using it in your room!
Your bedroom is very attractive. You have "the touch." The only thing that seems a bit "off" to me are the letter trays on the big black tray with floral insert. I know you like the grid pattern of the wire, but to me, they look a bit "utilitarian" in contrast with the other elegant pieces. Your bedroom has a look of elegance & sophistication. I see a brass bowl on that tray, to echo the brass lamps and to form a triangle with the eye. Just my opinion. I can't help myself sometimes. I'm not criticizing, just putting in my two cents! ♥
Hey Joyce! The baskets arent there because of the grid pattern. They are simply functional, holding my remote controls and magazines while I'm in bed. Thanks for dropping by!
You are a very talented designer. I love the style, colors, and mix of patterns in your bedroom. Keep those pics coming.
So how did a thrifty guy like you manage to get his hands on the Chiang Mia fabric??
Hello! I first came across your beautiful decor @ Apartment Therapy. I've been following you ever since, but have never really left a comment. I love your bed (I have the exact same one, but mine's upholstered in fabric). I'll be visiting your blog on a weekly basis! :) Thanks for the inspiration.
I love your bedroom! You have a great mix of black and red, but it doesn't look dark at all with the white comforter. Loving it!xo katie elizabethohheyylife.blogspot.com
Love the room, especially the graphic cushions. Am about to action your point about something to hold cufflinks (and all the other stuff that my husband carts around in his pockets) to keep the dresser tidy! Thanks for your comment and I have so enjoyed watching your success recently - so inspiring and makes me really happy to see what can happen. Keep enjoying! Love Annie x.
The fabric inside the tray is my favorite! An unexpected pop of pretty! Love your "I'd rather be thrifting" poster! Thanks so for sharing! We all love to see the little snippets of your home!Kellexx
Rashon, have you ever heard of Old English furniture polish? A few swipes on those spots on your bureau will fix it right up! Got my Tshirt today! Ann
Nutbird so glad your shirt came!I would use polish, buut I am getting it repainted and lacquered in a high gloss very soon...How soon?Good question...lol
Love it, love it! I'm always afraid to use patterns because I don't have the confidence to put it together! Also, LOVE the bedhead! It reminds me of the one Jennifer Lopez's character has in "The Backup Plan" (I remembered 'cause I just saw the movie!). If you say you got that at a thrift store, I'm gonna have a coronary!!
It looks amazing...love the colors!!
love love love it!! Im getting ready to help a client with his apartment (its a rental so no painting-boo hiss) and I am totally using all your pics for inspiration for him! He very stylish like you too!! He is a personal stylist for J Crew-so he's got great taste but he's on a tight budget- GoodWill all the way baby!!
Your room is awesome! I love the "I'd rather be thrifting" artwork on the dresser.
I am luv-innng...it! You have to know I love the black and white stripe x bench!
Love the updates. You know I am a sucker for black and white stripes AND Chiang Mai dragon!
Oh my! You are a man who wears cuff links! Swoon. I'm grateful my hubs works at a job that allows him to wear jeans and trendy t-shirts day in and day out (easy on the budget and minimal clothing maintenance required). However, there are a few things in this world that can help any man look handsome - a nice pressed shirt, cuff links and an attractive cologne. Good work! (Your room is stunning too!)
