some people like to admit that they don't have a style. they purport they like everything. truth be told, we call that a style. eclectic.
what is my style: in my wardrobe, i lean towards the classics with an err on the side of dandy. what i don't like are crazy fashion pieces. i don't find anything lady gaga does worthy of burning my retina. kanye west bothers me as well. he is creative, but he has taught me one thing. money cant buy style. he is a bit of all things and a lot of nothing. sorry kanyeezy.
style comes in all ages...the young, the mid-life crisis and the thank ya lawd for one more day. all of us can sing "kum by ya" in our bowties, dashikis, manolo blakniks, wingtips, and suspenders. but we all cant agree on what shops to stop in while on rodeo drive, fifth avenue or the thrift district (do we have one of those?).
its easy to master style, just be you.
so who is this young man. i call him jc. i met his mother years ago when my family joined a new church. when jc was young, jc would often come up to me after church and say, "i saw you up there moving and talking and stuff." (directing the choir and preaching).
jc has since grown up and is 11 now. every time i see him a small bit of jealously runs through me because at such a young age, he is so stylish. i guess it doesn't hurt he has a beautiful mother and a handsome father.
hahaha...
fo real...
heres to style at any age

And he has the confidence to wear what he likes! That's great! A beautiful family.
I love that hes embracing style at such a young age!!!!
We should all be so creative with our clothes! This kid can teach us a few things.
Beautifully written, Mr. Goodwill!
That boy has "it". You can't teach that, he was born with it. The way he wears his hats and bow ties with such confidence, love it!!
What a handsome young man and yes - he has a great sense of style. I like to see young people who find their own way and don't try to be like everybody else. It takes courage. His style is timeless. I'm pretty sure 20 years from now, he will look back and not be embarrassed.

What a sweetheart-any 11 year old who will wear a bow tie is alright with me!! xo
Dapper.
I am a lil bit jealous of JC's style myself. He has great style.
so cute!
Phew that young man can dress! Dapper, yes sir.
Wonderful that a boy so young understands that classic style with a twist will get you the ladies' attention quicker than you can say lickety-split ;)
Here's to grace and confident at any age -- style is, after all, a state of mind.

What a stylish young man. Such a departure, I'm sure, from his contemporaries.
I just fell inlove! Ahh to be that age again but then I probably wouldn't have had the good sense to appreciate his confidence to be himself!!!
Too fabulous!! That is one styling kid!!
Mr. JC is my BABY and we're so proud of him he definitely has his own style with a personality to match! He loves to get dressed up and he too gets a lil jealous when he sees what Rashon has on at church. He often says, "Mom did you see what Rashon had on today? "That was HOT." I'll take some of the credit for being his STYLIST and all of the credit for being his SPONSOR....LOL! We're very thrifty shoppers and almost never pay full price for anything for ourselves, nor JC. He's growing so fast; you don't have to sacrifice an arm and leg to look good. Thanks Rashon for featuring my Baby, JC....much love!
What a handsome young man! I love his style, it inspires me!
Check him out! As I like to say (southern saying), that sweet boy IS all that AND a bag of chips! I am so impressed.
Seriously...for real..that dude is oozing style....so darn cute!
SO ADORABLE!! What a handsome, well-dressed young man!

For sure...he's one hip kid. You should have seen me in my teens. From the age of 13 on, my mother no longer bought my clothes, instead I did with my babysitting money and guess where I head to...Oxfam when I was in London and Goodwill here. I think I was pretty stylin' and I so wish I kept my wardrobe...it was very vintage chic!
