[how to entertain men]

its not that kind of post, despite valentine's day coming up. i was blog hopping earlier last week and came across this simple, yet elegant dinner party for men. this set up was done by Delores, the force behind the blog [vignette design ]. in my opinion, this is a great way to entertain men.

did that not just stimulate your senses!
stop by vignette design and let Delores know i sent you over.

All that glam would be so wasted on my BF. He loves a great meal but could care less about how the table looks :)

Wow. I really want to be at that party. The table runner amidst the rest of the setting is gorgeous. If only I had a wine cellar.

Great party inspiration indeed! I'm hosting a birthday party for my husband next weekend, and I'm really happy I read this post. (the party will mainly consist of men). And yes, very tempting indeed, both the decor and the food =)

The table setting is beautiful, without doubt, but what's catching my eye, and appetite, is that food! Looks amazing - so wish I was there (and thank you for your lovely comments on my old Wellington house). As an ex Greenville resident, please say hi to the corn bread at Soby's (if still there)! Cheers,
Annie x.

That table is perfect! I love the burlap mixed with the silver & mercury and finally the kegs in the background. Very nice!

I love this setting! I love simple colours and nothing too girly in a table setting so this is right up my alley. I love the champagne bucket holding the flowers.

How did this slip through the cracks! Thank you so much for posting this. My daughter will be so happy!
She is catering an event this Saturday at the same urban winery for 16 guests. And I'm one of them! Of course I'll be a working guest too since I have to provide the tablesetting as part of my daughter's catering service. The event is for my husband's wine (snob) group called BNO (short for boy's night out--puhleeze!). Anyway, they include the wives on occasion. The theme is Sicilian as the wines featured will be from Sicily. My daughter has quite a menu planned, including goat as the main entry. Help me!
Anyway, I'll post it for sure, so stay tuned.
I can't wait to see you on the Nate show. You rock!
