...a Thrifty Tuesday...

yesterday was a pretty good day for me at Goodwill. Although it seems like I have amassed a lot of items, I honestly have very little major pieces...until yesterday.

So today I want to share my "loot" with you.
Brass Ram lamps. I think at least 4 people wanted these out of my cart.
simple letter. $2.50 still cheaper than the half off letters at Hob Lob.
I'm not sure what these are, but at $.99 for 6, these will be cup holders.
used pool balls $2.99. I liked that they are all beat up. Funny story behind these.
Dresser. I have plans for this...big makeover.
probably the best deal of the day..$19.99 sofa. I just couldn't leave it there. So many options and possibilities. Cant wait to get my grubby paws on some fabric options.

So what you think?

WOW...WOW...WOW! I am so jealous!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for stopping by my site earlier in the week! I am a goodwill junkie!

Every time I see your thrift store posts I am going to rush straight out to my local store...

Do you ever get the feeling that when you are not there, someone else took home the greatest item ever...and so you need to keep going to get there BEFORE that happens?

Hmmm...maybe it just me!

No no...not at all. I have a home to furnish so I go for me. It is such that we all have different tastes and what may be the deal of a lifetime for me, may be junk to others. Most of what I get is in plain view and people are walking all around it.

Also, what I need someone else may not need. For example, the sofa I scored was perfect for me because I needed a sofa. Others may have liked it, but may not have been able to see past the ugly OR may not have had a need for it.

So I dont go to try to beat someone to a great deal, I go out of necessity...out of fun...out of boredom.

I encourage everyone to be easy and have fun. If you dont have fun and relax you may leave upset because the old lady snatched that pair of lamps before you did. Always know there is enough for us all.

Love love love the pool balls...I found a few sets of them for our wedding, unfortunately not as cheap as you found them! We used them to place our wedding date (4-10). It looked really fun :) Thanks for sharing your finds!

Wonderful finds! I also love the Goodwill! My latest treasures are a velvet Armani blazer, and a beautiful Nanette Lepour jacket. I paid $4.99 for each! Love your blog, I found you through Eddie Ross.

The lamps, the pool balls, the sofa, the dresser!!! I swear you're teasing us that you're really finding all that great stuff at Goodwill. If only my local Goodwill's could turn over such treasures.
